description: This intermediary table consists of information relating to thermal and mineral springs as well as fumaroles within Washington State. These data were compiled as part of a Department of Energy geothermal grant, and partially supersede previously released thermal_mineral_springs point feature class data within the geothermal_resources file geodatabase (Washington Division of Geology and Earth Resources, 2011). These data are included in a file geodatabase that also incorporates water chemistry, temperature, and photographic data for springs identified within the Spring Locations feature class. This table relates source codes (which represent published documents) to their respective springs, chemical analyses, and temperature measurements using the unique ID values for each record, regardless of ID type and source. Codes are then related to their respective citations within the Spring Citations data table, which can also be found within this geodatabase.
