Service Description: This service contains information on the location, sample, and analysis characteristics, and major element and trace element geochemistry analytical results performed on rock samples in Washington State. This dataset includes analyses previously published by this agency, and additional published and unpublished data. We opted to exclude U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geochemical analyses from this compilation—data collected by the USGS are already compiled within the National Geochemistry Database (NGDB)(USGS, 2004).
