Service Description: The Washington State Earthquake Hazards Scenario Catalog consists of 20 different seismic scenarios across Washington State. This service contains the scenario for a modeled Cascadia subduction zone magnitude 9.0 earthquake event. These data include: building damage, debris, building economic loss, displaced households, electric power facility damage, fire station damage, highway bridge damage, hospital damage, households without water-day 1, injuries and fatalities, natural gas facility damage, oil facility damage, port facility damage, railway, railway bridge damage, school damage, shaking intensity, and waste water facility damage. Injuries and fatalities are reported for a 2:00 AM event, a 2:00 PM event, and a 5:00 PM event, to represent where people are most likely to be at different times of day. The other seismic scenarios in the catalog are available on our website at https://www.dnr.wa.gov/seismic-scenarios.
